Hastula matheroniana (Deshayes, 1859)

Petite térèbre qui se caractérise par une bande sous-suturale tachetée de marron brun-rouge.
Le reste du test est de couleur brune.
Le dernier tour a une bande périphérique blanche et la moitié inférieure du tour est lisse.

Vit en eau peu profonde en bordure des plages de sable.

Size of the displayed specimen : 20mm

Small auger characterized with a red-brown blotched subsutural band. The remaining of the shell has a brown color.
The last whorl has a peripherical white band and the middle-inferior of the whorl is smooth.

It lives in shallow water close to the sandy beaches.
