Terebra areolata (Link, 1807 )

Coloration de deux puis de trois alignements spiraux de tâches chocolat pour se terminer par quatre alignements sur le dernier tour. L'alignement inférieur a les tâches les plus grandes. L'alignement supérieur est délimité par une fine ligne sous suturale.

Vit aussi en eau peu profonde des lagons enfouie dans le sable.

Taille du spécimen illustré : 96mm

Two, then three spiral alignments have chocolate blotches and are finishing by four alignments on the last whorl.
The lower alignment has the biggest blotches. The upper one is delimited by a fine subsutural line.

It lives in the lagoon's shallow water, buried in the sand.
