Terebra chlorata Lamarck, 1822

De couleur ivoire avec des tâches brunes ou rouilles. Elle possède une bande sous suturale plate, sans nodules, marquée par un sillon modérément profond.

Les tours sont ornés de lignes longitudinales brunes. L'ouverture est plutôt carrée, la columelle rectiligne.

L'animal de couleur blanc-crème a un opercule brun-rougeâtre translucide et lisse.

Taille du spécimen illustré : 60 mm

Color ivory with brown or rust colored blotches. Subsutural band flat, without nodule, marked by a moderately deep groove.

The whorls have longitudinal brown lines. The aperture is rather square and the columella is quite straight.

The animal is creamy white and has a smooth, translucent reddish brown operculum.

Size of the displayed specimen : 60 mm
