Terebra crenulata (Linné, 1758)

Terebra crenulata (Linné, 1758 )
D'une coloration générale crème rosé, elle possède des tubercules blancs pointus séparés par d'étroites lignes axiales brun clair. Elle comporte deux alignements spiraux de points bruns équidistants et très éloignés les uns des autres. Elle vit en eau peu profonde des lagons.

Terebra crenulata f. fimbriata (Deshayes, 1859)
Généralement plus foncée la T.crenulata f. fimbriata se caractérise par la quasi-absence de nodules donnant un aspect lisse au test de la coquille. Provient le plus souvent de l'archipel des îles Marquises.

Terebra crenulata (Linné, 1758 )
Color creamy-pink, it possesses sharp white tubercles separated by narrow clear brown axial lines. It has two spiral alignments of brown spots equally distant and very far away from each other. It lives in the lagoon's shallow waters.

Terebra crenulata f. fimbriata (Deshayes, 1859)
T.crenulata f. fimbriata is generally darker and is characterized by the near absence of nodules giving a smooth appearence to the shell. Most of the time, it is collected in the Marquesas islands.
