Terebra subulata (Linné, 1767)

Coloration blanche légèrement rosée sur les derniers tours avec deux rangées de tâches brunes à marron, l'une sous la suture mais ne la touchant pas, l'autre au dessus de la suture qui la recouvre en partie. Trois alignements de tâches sur le dernier tour.

Se récolte dans presque tous les lagons de Tahiti à faible profondeur souvent enfouie dans le sable

Taille du spécimen illustré : 92mm

White, with light pinkish color on the last whorls with two rows of tawny to brown blotches, one under the suture without touching it, the other above the suture which covers it partially.
Three alignments of blotches on the last whorl.

It is collected in most of the lagoons of Tahiti in shallow water, often buried in the sand.
