Terebra undulata Gray, 1834

Cette térèbre, toujours pêchée pour ma part en eau profonde + 25 mètres sur fond sablo vaseux, a un test brillant fauve à brun clair dont la sculpture dominante est faite de cordes axiales élevées.
Un sillon sous sutural isole la partie supérieure des cordes axiales par des tubercules blancs. Le reste du test est coloré de fauve à brun clair, de teinte plus sombre entre les interstices.

This auger, always collected personnaly in deep waters from 25 meters of water on a muddy-sand bottom, has a tawny to light brown shiny pattern whith a prevaling sculpture made of high axial ribs.
A subsutural groove isolate the upper part of the axial ribs by white tubercles. The remaining of the shell is tawny to light brown colored with a tint darker between the interstices.
