Terebra babylonia Lamarck, 1822

This species is characterized by the orange color of its reticulated pattern and aperture. Each whorl is sculpted by three spires.

The superior spire isolate, between it and the suture, small tubercles becoming flatters or obsoletes at the base.

I have personnally collected this species in a 20 meters depth, at night.

Size of the displayed specimen : 47mm
