Conus leopardus (Röding, 1798)

Rareté : Commum
Habitat :

Lagon. Souvent exposé durant la journée sur le sable, parfois partiellement ensablé.
Discussion : Espèce classique de l'océan indien à ne pas confondre avec Conus litteratus plus rare.
Les spécimens de taille intermédiaire sont souvent les plus jolis. Vivants ils ont un périostracum très épais.
Taille moyenne : 70-110 mm
Rarity : Commom
Habitat :

Lagoon. Often exposed during day time, partially burried sometimes though.
Discussion : This classic species remains lightly different from Conus litteratus which is rarer.
Average size : 70-110 mm
