Habitat :

Récif barrière. En compagnie de C. lividus, sanguinolentus, flavidus & frigidus.

Discussion : Espèce devenue rare un peu partout dans le monde. Il faut dire qu'il n'est pas évident de la distinguer au premier coup d'oeil, les spécimens C. lividus et C. sanguinolentus étant plus nombreux, on a tendance à ne pas les regarder avec attention...
L'espèce est souvent abîmée.
Taille moyenne : 35-50 mm
Rarity : Became moderately rare
Habitat :

Reef species found along with C. lividus, sanguinolentus, flavidus & frigidus.

Discussion : This species is often confused with C. sanguinolentus and then is not collected. The shell is often scratched.
Average size : 35-50 mm
