Conus muriculatus f. sugillatus Sowerby, 1833

Rareté : Peu commum
Habitat :

Très variable. Dans peu d'eau près du bord. En plongée bouteille dans les chenaux du lagon dans la zone des 10m et dans les passes jusqu'à 30m de profondeur.
Discussion : Cette espèce est de bien plus grosse taille en bord de plage (semble être C. m. f. sugillatus) et alors bien différente des spécimens récoltés en profondeur (mais qui semblent être pourtant toujours rattachés à la frome sugillatus)
Taille moyenne : 20-35 mm
Rarity : Uncommon
Habitat :

This a variable species. It can be found in shallow water, in the channel slopes (10m) and in the passes (30m).
Discussion : We never saw any specimen of Conus muriculatus. Even if specimens from these different habitats are different and even if appears two variations, all the specimens studied are related to the sugillatus forma.
Average size : 20-35 mm
