Conus retifer Menke, 1829

Rareté : Rare
Habitat : Très variable mais toujours près du récif barrière.
Discussion : Cette espèce est moins rare aux Tuamotu où elle affectionne les bords du récif par 50cm d'eau.
Dans l'archipel de la Société elle est très rare.
Aux Marquises, elle est très différente par ton teint beaucoup plus fonçé et avec moins de triangles.
Taille moyenne : 25-35mm

Habitat : A reef species
Discussion : This species is more common in the Tuamotu where it is found in less than 50cm of water on the reef.
In Tahiti it is very rare. The Marquesas have a nice variation which is so different and dark from the other ones (see picture below)
Average size : 25-35mm
