Conus capitaneus Hwass in Bruguière, 1792

Rareté : Rare
Habitat : Je n'ai pour le moment vu qu'un seul specimen. Il était caché sous un gros morceau de corail mort recouvert d'algues brunes. Il semble vivre dans peu d'eau dans les lagons.
Discussion : Cette espèce a un periostracum faisant penser à des algues. C'est une très belle espèce mais difficile à trouver visiblement aux Seychelles.
Rarity : Rare
Habitat : I only saw one live specimen. It was laying under a rock covered with brown algae. It lives in lagoons in shallow water.
Discussion : It has a grass looking periostracum. This species is really nice there and unfortunately is very difficult to obtain.
