Conus litoglyphus Hwass in Bruguière, 1792

Rareté : Assez rare
Habitat : Espèce qui vit souvent dans très peu d'eau, sous des débris coralliens ou près des herbiers.
Discussion : C'est une espèce qui est difficile à trouver vivante alors que l'on rencontre des specimens morts en mauvais état assez fréquemment.
Rarity : Very Uncommon
Habitat : Shallow water and subtidal. Often hidden under dead coral fragments and sometimes near seaweed.
Discussion : The species is difficult to find live while many dead shells can be sighted. It's color is dark red (Tahiti = brown) and the shell is rarely GEM.

Size : 40.2 mm
